About the course
Blackboard Learn is a great platform for education institutions to create courses. But when it comes to creating great looking interactive content, Blackboards limitations can quickly become apparent. Determined that my students were going to receive great looking bespoke content via Blackboard, I spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out a way around these limitations. Through speaking to other teachers, learning technologists and industry experts along with a lot of trail and error, I eventually figured out some great workarounds to making my course content look great while still using the fundamental building blocks of Blackboard.
In this course I'll be talking you
through planning and preparing the foundations for your Blackboard course, followed by how to create amazing looking content with custom HTML & CSS in Adobe Dreamweaver, then implementing this into your Blackboard course.
By
the end of the course you'll be able to apply some of my techniques and
create your own visually engaging, dynamic, and interactive content for
your Blackboard course by using custom HTML & CSS.

Your Instructor
As a Lecturer and Learning Technologist with a background in design/digital art & animation, when teaching I often draw upon my design skills in order to create content that is visually engaging, dynamic, and interactive. This ensures that my students are active learners rather than passive learners, making it easier for them to retain information and giving them a far better learning experience.
